 Gantry is a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), a real estate professional with specific understanding of the foreclosure avoidance options available to homeowners. When other options have been exhausted, CDPEs help homeowners avoid foreclosure through the efficient execution of a short sale. CDPEs don’t merely assist in selling properties, they serve and help  their clients in need. Wilson says, “The high success in short sales I maintain for my clients is a result of two things: My expertise with the process, through relationships developed with banks, and my ability to negotiate on my client’s behalf. Before taking action, I sit down with my client and review all their options, such as loan modification, loan repayment, or a short sale. Short sales are preferable to foreclosures; it allows my client to do the right thing, stop foreclosure, save their credit, and allows them to buy again within 2-3 years instead of the 5-7 years in foreclosure. If a short sale is inevitable, I have a specialist on staff whose sole purpose is to negotiate the short sale with the lender.”
